WE GOT A POOL !!

We got a pool !!! LOL

We decided last summer, definitely, we wouldn't get a pool.  We would stand out in the back yard every summer and say.................. "Gee it'd be nice to have a pool" every year.

I was at work one day in about June, thinking.......  text Glen and said "I think I want a pool ??!! "

He didn't text back.  LOL

We ended up talking about it, and decided that it would be good.  Emma's still at a good age, she's only 9.  Josh wasn't really interested, but he's 14 so maybe it's not cool.

We got a few quotes and decided to go ahead.

28th August.  Hole was dug.  Pool went in.

Emma had her first swim on Fathers Day.  3rd Sept.

Still a bit chilly, but she was fairly keen to get in there.

Then came the waiting..... 3 weeks for the pool to settle, and then the concreting...... More waiting and then the fencing..... More waiting, and finally the paving.  All finished at the beginning of December.

We love it.  I've even been in once LOL

Emma's worn out all of her swimmers already.  All faded.  I seem to be washing towels every second day.  Finally, we have a pool !!
